We sailed aboard the Viking Yidun in December 2025. I've been on many cruise ships, both in Japan and abroad, but the atmosphere when boarding the Viking Yidun was completely different. The crew were all so cheerful, and we were welcomed into a warm, homey atmosphere. There are many ways to enjoy a cruise, but I believe the atmosphere at embarkation is an important first impression. Conversations with the crew during the voyage were another highlight. I'm truly grateful to the crew who cleaned our stateroom. The food was flawless, and we enjoyed it immensely. My wife raved that it was the best food she's had on any cruise. As soon as we got home, we booked a February 2026 cruise. When we boarded, I was surprised to hear Ms. Princess greet me with "Welcome back, Namura-sama!" We were also incredibly lucky to have the chance to tour the bridge. We were very sad to learn the ship returns to her home port in June 2026, but we're looking forward to her return in 2028. We also look forward to seeing Ms. Princess, Ms. Mariel, and Mr. Jetro again. #MyVikingStory
